For all current e-bikes (for CGO009-specific instructions, please refer to this link), you can record your trips using either Auto Record Mode or Manual Record Mode. Below, we’ll explain how both methods work and provide tips to avoid common issues.
Manual Record Mode
If you prefer to manually start and stop your ride recordings, follow these steps:
- Open the TENWAYS app and connect your bike via Bluetooth. Tap the GO button to begin recording your ride data.
- Once your ride is complete, long-press the End button to finish and save your ride data.
Note: If you forget to press End, your ride data may not be saved.
Auto Record Mode
- Before your ride, open the TENWAYS app and ensure your bike is connected via Bluetooth.
- The app will automatically start recording your ride data as soon as you begin moving. Make sure Bluetooth remains connected throughout your ride.
- The ride recording will automatically stop when Bluetooth is disconnected (e.g., if the bike display is turned off or the app is closed).
📌 Note
- Minimum Distance Requirement: Rides must be at least 200 meters to be saved. Shorter trips will not be recorded.
- Check Bluetooth Connectivity: Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and remains connected to your bike during the ride.
- App Permissions: Make sure the TENWAYS app has the necessary permissions (e.g., location access) to record your ride data.
If you’re experiencing problems, please double-check your settings or reach out to TENWAYS support (support@tenways.com) for further assistance.
🚴 Happy riding!
