How do I add a route from outside the app?

Sometimes you know more routes than the built-in map does, and you want to go your way. You can do this by importing your route file. Please follow the steps shown in the screenshot below. GPX, FIT, and TCX files are supported.

Why does my ride show only a straight line from start to finish after I complete it?

This usually happens because of GPS permission settings. If the app doesn’t have proper GPS permission, it may only record the start and end points connected by a straight line. To get accurate route tracking:

• Set your GPS to “Allow While Using App” and open TENWAYS before you begin riding, so the app can access GPS properly.
• Or, set GPS permission to “Always Allow” for continuous location access.

Why are bicycle routes not shown in some areas?

The app uses Google Maps for its mapping services. In areas where Google Maps lacks detailed bicycling network data, dedicated cycling routes may not appear.
