If you encounter Error Code 08 on your CGO600 (Pro), CGO800S, or CGO009 display, it indicates a motor hall sensor failure. This issue may affect the bike's ability to provide proper pedal assistance. Below are some simple steps to help you troubleshoot this issue.
1. Restart the Bike
- Turn off the bike, and wait for about 30 seconds.
- Power the bike back on and check if the error persists.
2. Inspect the Motor Cable Connection
- Follow the cable from the motor at the rear wheel to find the connector. The connector may be hidden inside the bike frame tube near the rear wheel. Please refer to the image below for guidance.
- Check for any visible damage to the cable or connectors.
- Disconnect and carefully reconnect the cable, ensuring a secure fit.
3. Check for Water or Dirt Ingress
- If the bike was recently exposed to heavy rain or muddy conditions, dry off any moisture around the wires and electric components.
